olalala asked:
Try outs for my school soccer team are next month and I was wondering what I should be able to do in order to make the team. What type of training should I do to get in shape? What soccer skills and basics should I be able to perform.
I have played on a league the past year but I am not really sure of what i should be able to do.

Khaled Younes asked:
I would like to know if there are any soccer clubs who offer summer courses (training) for the youth. I am Lebanese, 16 years old and I have two brothers 15 & 12 who are willing as well to join any club in Riyadh for training or recreational purposes. If anyone has a team and is interested in having additional players , I am willing to join. Any suggestions for good clubs that will help fulfill my time doing the hobby I like ?

Danny Counts asked: He has done no running training other than playing mid in soccer. He ran a 6:09 mile 3 weeks ago in a track meet. He told me he could do better. So the limited training we have done for the past few weeks is uphill sprints (over and over), only two 3-mile runs and he is down to 5:52. Is this the right type of training?

asked: The English FA Cup Final is the show piece for the biggest and most famous domestic cup competition in the world. It is transmitted to hundreds of countries worldwide, and watched by millions of people. This year’s final, taking place on 30 May at the famous Wembley Stadium in west London promises to be the Battle of the Blues – the blues of Everton taking on the blues of Chelsea. Watching it on television would be good, but it would be absolutely fantastic if we could buy FA Cup Final tickets and be there in the stadium itself. Both Everton and Chelsea have passionate support, and no doubt the 50,000 ardent fans of each club are going to make the atmosphere electric. Those 50,000 fans will have purchased their tickets via their respective clubs as season ticket holders (meaning they have purchased a season’s subscription to every home game of their club), but many will have lost out. It is a shame, seeing as Wembley holds not 50,000 people, but 90,000! What happens to the rest of the tickets?
The majority of the 40,000 tickets left over go to sponsors and corporate partners of the FA, others go to the “football family” themselves – those who have worked behind the scenes and so on. A shame that so many are allocated to “non fans”, as it’s not every day that your team gets to the final of such a prestigious event. It is understandable that many go to the sponsors etc, but not so to the football family. Surely, they could be rewarded by being given tickets to England international games? England rarely sells out when it plays, so it would make more sense to bolster numbers in these games, rather than the FA Cup final, where every fan wants to see their team play.
So, while the average fan will have no chance of buying a ticket via their club unless they are season ticket holders, it means they have to search elsewhere for access to the most prestigious footballing showpiece in the world.

This is my 5 Year old Son, Antonio Orlando. In Australia. He is passionate about Football (Soccer) and he is naturally left footed but can use the right foot as well. There are about 40 kids in the age group and they play 2 games a week. Each team consisting of 4 to 5 players. Antonio is pretty much the top ranking scorer amongst the 40 players. Please subscribe as there will be more to come. Here is a link to the 2nd video: www.youtube.com Antonio has been kicking the ball ever since he could walk. He has a dual Passport, Australian & Italian. He is 5 years old and playing in the Under 6′s (Grassroots). He is the youngest of the group. This is just some of the Goal Highlights I have created. He’s playing against kids that are 1 year older than him and it’s his first year playing Football. They are about half way through the season. He loves the game! Hope you enjoy it! Thank you.

I want to try out for my university team next year so that would give me about a year to train. Is it possible to improve enough at my age to make a university level team?
