Soccer Training with Pro Trainer – GKers

I got a great call the other day from a long time customer of our Pro Trainer soccer ball machine. He was calling to say that he needed some new wheels for his machine as he had worn them out over the course of six years of hard training with the Pro Trainer. This is a good reason to need service. Getting tons of use out fo the machine is always a good thing.

Well it turns out that he has an even better story than just having used the machine a lot for training goalkeepers in his local area. It turns out that he was a former player and now trainer when he had a car accident which ruined one of his legs. He had to have extensive surgery and re learn how to walk. Well this tragedy casued him to not be able to kick a soccer ball anymore. A soccer trainer not able to kick a ball? What is he to do?

Bring in the Pro Trainer and add it to the his soccer training kit is what. He has been using the machine to effectively train his keepers for years now and they have achieved great success. One of his current students has been training on the machine for six years and is now going off to a D1 college in the fall on a full ride. She is a very skilled GKer who loves training with our machine to hone her essential skills in goal.

So essentially (and I am going to get more details, photos and video if possible from him to flesh this out more) the Pro Trainer has allowed this guy to keep being a GKer trainer and making a living from it while also giving great soccer  training to his players. How cool is that? I love to hear great stories about how this machine has helped our customers develop youth soccer players whether they are competitive players trying to get on to the next level (college/pros) or just the tool to help rec level players develop basic skills so they can have more fun when they play the beautiful game.

Do you have a great story of using the Pro Trainer in your soccer training? We would love to hear it. Drop us a line below in the comments or email us.
